Revenue, revenue and revenue is the highest priority for full-time or part-time Uber drivers. When you are "on the road" taking advantage of Uber Pool and surge pricing is critical. If you are like me you likely have a 'preferred' area in which to pick-up new Riders (e.g. an area you know well and feel comfortable with the type of people submitting Rider Requests. As Uber drivers we also need to be flexible ... which sometimes means going to an unfamiliar area or turning around and driving to an area you just came from. The key point is to "reduce the amount of time between rides." Reduce unproductive time by planning advance by carrying some convenient healthy snacks, identifying time-efficient restroom breaks and the like. Remember, aside from "Rider Referrals and Invitations" almost all driver revenue comes down to the time you have a rider(s) in your vehicle ... and the vehicle is on the road.
